Parkallen Knitters

The Parkallen Knitters have been a staple in Parkallen for decades. They craft hats, scarves, slippers, and sweaters to benefit charities and inner-city schools.

Organizations that received donations this year include:

• Hope Mission

• Bissell Centre

• Kids Kottage

• Spruce Ave. School

• Mother Teresa School

• McKay School

• the Moms and Tots Program at Millwoods Health Unit

• seniors care centres

Drop by the weekly meetings at the Parkallen Community Hall Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. They have a large stock of donated yarns for member knitting projects. Yarn donations are always appreciated.
